My journey in technology started long before my first line of code: it was born from a restless curiosity to understand how things work under the hood — going all the way back to childhood, when I used to take toys apart just to see which gear made everything move. Today, I channel that same curiosity into software engineering, building robust, scalable web applications aligned with the most modern tools in the ecosystem.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) (graduated in April 2026), and I had the privilege of experiencing university right at a historical inflection point: the transition between software development "before AI" and the new AI-assisted era. Learning to program from the ground up — structuring algorithms, making mistakes, and deeply understanding computer science fundamentals — shaped my core values as an engineer. AI has changed the speed at which we write code, but solid fundamentals and critical thinking are what ensure we truly understand what we are building and why.
Beyond technical skills, public university transformed me as a person. It was there that I took my first steps in academic research — learning to investigate problems with rigor and method — and where I built genuine friendships and connections with incredible people that I carry into both life and career. I make a point of acknowledging that this achievement was not solitary: I am a direct result of free, quality public education and student access and retention public policies that opened doors for me to enter, stay, and graduate from university.
The Blog's Purpose
This space was created to externalize my learning and serve as a living showcase of my portfolio and technical evolution. I believe the best way to solidify a concept is by trying to explain it clearly — and that is exactly what I aim to do here, sharing everything from hands-on tutorials to reflections on software engineering, architecture, and core fundamentals.
More than speaking into the void, the goal here is to learn alongside you. With that exchange in mind, I built a custom comment system right into the blog: feel free to make yourself at home, debate ideas, suggest improvements, or share your perspective on every article.
